JMI Alumni Association – Germany Chapter: An Overview
We are the JMI Alumni Group, dispersed across various regions in Germany, boasting a diverse membership of individuals with varied academic and professional backgrounds. Our collective comprises both seasoned professionals and ambitious students pursuing Master’s and Doctorate degrees within Germany.
Our current administrative body consists of seven dedicated alumni, forming the core steering committee responsible for establishing statutes and formally registering our chapter as a society.
Our primary goal revolves around fostering a sense of unity among JMI alumni residing in Germany. Furthermore, we aim to extend our reach to connect with JMI alumni worldwide, prioritizing assistance and support for incoming members, particularly students embarking on further studies in Germany. We provide guidance on navigating life in Germany and facilitate job-related networking opportunities to aid in their transition and professional growth.
Mission
Our mission is to fortify the bond with our alma mater by fostering collective collaboration, advocating for student-alumni interaction, and realizing the vision set forth by the university’s founding figures.
This objective will be pursued through networking initiatives aimed at cultivating professional, social, and societal involvement within the Indo-German framework.
We endeavor to facilitate cultural, economic, and scientific exchanges among students and alumni from Jamia in both Germany and India, thereby promoting mutual understanding and collaboration across borders.
